Counseling Center’s Mission

“The mission of Miles City Unified School District’s school counseling center is focused on providing an all-inclusive counseling program that addresses the needs of all students through academics, personal/social, and career development. Our school counselors advocate for student success by providing opportunities through a wide variety of positive school experiences and activities, aimed at increasing our students self-awareness, their correlation in a multi-cultural society/world, including the responsibilities and rights as a citizen in a free democratic society.

We view our program as an integral component of the academic mission of the school, as comprehensive in design, and delivered systematically to all our students. To best serve our students at CCDHS, school counselors believe that collaborating and partnering with other school personnel, parents, and the community is essential. Our goal is for students to leave prepared with the knowledge, confidence and skills to face the world, reaching their potential as contributing members of society.”
